Manchester United gaffer, Jose Mourinho, is eyeing summer move for three Barcelona players according to reports.
The Portuguese manager’s interest for defender Samuel Umtiti is well
known and the Red Devils are even prepared to meet the Barca defender’s
€60m buyout clause.
Spanish media, Don Balon, reports that Mourinho is also interested in
Andre Gomes as he is also under consideration, with Barcelona actively
encouraging offers for the Portugal international. Gomes shares the same
agent, Jorge Mendes, as Mourinho.
According to the same report, United is also interested in goalkeeper
Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Should United lose David de Gea this summer,
they will move for Germany international Ter Stegen. His buyout clause
is set at €180m, however United intermediaries have informed Mourinho
that Barca would be willing to sell for €100m.
BBC and ITV were keen on signing the highly rated Portuguese gaffer
signed up for Russia’s international news channel RT, who have no live
rights.
