Millionaire blogger, Linda Ikeji is finally set to leave her luxury N500 million Banana Island mansion for her husband’s house.
Recall that it was earlier reported that Linda was engaged and about to get married to an old love flame which recently returned to the country, hence rekindling the flame.

Your Relationship Is A Happy One If You Notice This ONE Simple Sign

Your Relationship Is A Happy One If You Notice This ONE Simple Sign

Do you see this in your relationship?
Relationships are complicated . They probably always have been. Sometimes, they are so complicated that it’s difficult to gauge whether or not ours are happy ones.
Does every couple fight about how the socks are not matched up in the sock drawer? Do other girlfriends get jealous of the TV when their boyfriends are watching Netflix alone? Are we happy or are we doomed? It’s hard to tell.
And while the internet and social media make many parts of our lives easier, they also make things more complicated when it comes to relationships .
As I scroll through Instagram and see perfectly curated photos of happy couples frolicking on the beach, I can’t help but feel depressed over how much happier they must be than my boyfriend and I.
via Rebloggy
However, it turns out that there is ONE huge sign that your relationship is happier than everyone else’s. Want to know what it is? Not posting about your relationship on social media!
Booyah! Take that, perfect-looking Instagram couple.
According to a new study , couples who don’t post about their relationship on social media are happier.
Posting cute photos of you and your partner together is totally normal, but there is definitely a connection between how happy you are in your relationship and how often you post about it.
It first starts off with social media use in general. Studies show that those who use social media less are happier with their lives because they are out there living it, giving them less time to post about it. People who spend too much time on social media tend to get depressed because they are comparing their lives to what they see .
Also, people can use social media to essentially brainwash themselves, making it seem like their lives are SO great to outsiders, and even convincing themselves of the same, even if it’s not true.
For those people who have a happy relationship , proving it to others isn’t important to them. They are validated by the genuine happiness of their relationship , so they don’t feel the need to constantly post about it on social media to get validated by others.
An Open Letter To The Ex Who Kissed Me

An Open Letter To The Ex Who Kissed Me

I feel sorry for you. Really I do. You’re a man with absolutely no moral compass which I’m guessing is why you did what you did.
When you said that it’s ‘normal’, what exactly were you referring to? Was it an ex making a move on an ex? Or was it an ex making a move on their ex even though they (you) are dating someone else?
I pity you. It seems you never learnt your lesson at all. You never understood what loyalty meant or what is required out of a commitment.
Shame on you. Out in public, you create this image of a God-fearing, Jesus-loving man and I’ll admit, it works well in a society that prefers a religious partner. If only they could see underneath all those layers of masks and costumes that you hide behind – then they’ll get to see the true version of you.
Karma exists.
Why don’t you understand that? It’s the simplest life lesson out there and even the Holy Bible preaches it: You reap what you sow. You’re walking a rope hoisted above fire and at some point, you will get burned.
Harshly put, you are pathetic. You shamelessly walk around as this person enriched in religious values and honest principles, but look at you. You are nothing close to what others perceive of you and really that’s your loss.
While you’re carrying on with your unfaithful ways, there’s a girl in her coveted white coat at the laboratory with whom you’re not being honest. She’s out there waiting for you and staying loyal to you yet you’re out there putting your lips on public display. As she lays at night thanking her lucky stars that she’s met you and hoping that the stars will align this time around, you’re taking advantage of her gratitude and commitment for your own sick pleasure.
Truly and honestly, shame on you.
At some point, I hope you’ll one day understand the real meaning of love and everything else that it entails. You’re a grown man and that’s a fact which you clearly have yet to grasp. I know that at some point you’ve been taught to respect others and to treat others the way you would want to be treated, but I see that you’re far from being able to implement those rules in your life.
Until you realize that there are consequences to your wrongdoings then do us women a favor and please, keep your lips to yourself.

Why Tolerating Your Partner's Cheating Is A HUGE Mistake

Why Tolerating Your Partner's Cheating Is A HUGE Mistake

BYE, Felipe.

Cheating on a spouse is the ultimate form of betrayal. It destroys trust, which is the very core of any loving relationship. Unfortunately, we have rarely observed couples who have successfully rebuilt their relationship after infidelity . Those who suggest otherwise are delusional.

By nature, those who engage in infidelity are dishonest, disloyal, and lack moral strength within the relationship, so rebuilding the trust is a nearly impossible task. Why? Because being unfaithful fractures a wholesome, successful, and enduring relationship at its very foundation.

Infidelity destroys most relationships where it's present, make no mistake about that.

Here's the blunt bottom line: there are NO excuses for infidelity. And there's no excuse for accepting it from your partner. It's an absolute deal-breaker — the first time, the second time, or anytime.

Cheating on the one you love is the most unpardonable of all sins. When a spouse or lover violates the "core of trust" or the "bond of faith" in the relationship, the very heart of that relationship has likely been destroyed.

Loving someone for a lifetime doesn't occur by accident. To keep love alive and thriving, both partners must do simple things, day in and day out, that nurture their relationship . In other words, you cannot betray the one you love and expect your marriage or relationship to survive happily.

It pains our heart to see couples embrace the values of the Desperate Housewives , thinking it's OK to cheat on a loved one and everything will be OK afterward. It drives an arrow through our hearts to think that there are people engaged in a loving relationship who think betrayal is an offense for which there's forgiveness .

The ultimate betrayal of the one you say you love is an unrecoverable act. Writers, therapists, counselors and psychologists who suggest otherwise are not only fooling themselves, they're misleading those they claim to want to help.

There's rarely EVER an authentic recovery from a relationship poisoned by cheating, betrayal, infidelity, and disloyalty. Those who have been successfully married for years know this is true. Don't be misled.

"Character" in marriage is real (and it matters!). To suggest otherwise is to ignore the basic tenets of successful relationships .

Being honest and trustworthy is at the heart of all the best loving relationships we have studied. Those couples trust each other with their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. The damage done by breaking that trust it just too great. The relationship will never be the same.

So, we're saying that when it comes to the topic of cheating, "the buck stops here." Cheating is definitely a deal-breaker .

#BBNaija: Cee-C apologizes to Tobi for attacking him

#BBNaija: Cee-C apologizes to Tobi for attacking him

Cee-C apologizes to Tobi
Cee-C and Tobi are still trending on Social media right now, after the former verbally attacked the latter, which caused her a strike.
It all began when Tobi said he doesn’t like her anymore as they were about to prepare for their Close-Up task and she started raining insults on him, curse him for gossiping and talking behind her back with other housemates.

She warned him to steer clear from her and her matter because she is completely over him. Meanwhile in all this, Tobi did not utter any abusive word to her. He just kept laughing as she ranted on.
She still called him a f#ck boy, saying he does not have anything to offer a grown woman like her.
Watch the video below:
After the whole brouhaha, CeeC has apologized to Tobi for the mean words she said to him, and all has been forgiven.
Watch them converse below:

I Need To Break Her Before She Breaks Me

I Need To Break Her Before She Breaks Me

Does she not want me anymore? She’s so occupied with her life. She’s filling it with all these activities, these new people Where am I in her life?

I need to do it before she does. I need to dump her before I’m left behind I need to break her heart before she breaks mine

She’s crying over the phone She doesn’t understand why I don’t love her My heart hurts – maybe she’s playing with me. I need to move on But who?

She’s broken, needs me, shares the same background, Accepts me I feel comfortable. Hold me.

She could never hold me. 3000 miles separates us. But my heart yearns for her Why? She doesn’t want me…

She’s my best friend I could fall in love with her We could try… We are in a relationship?

Why do I keep calling her? Why does she keep telling me she loves me? I cry For the first time in years I cry

We slept together I cheated How could she ever forgive me?

Now I know, that she is who I want to be with Now I know, how do I tell her? Now I know, how do I keep both my best friend and the love of my life?
You Don’t Need To Sweep Her Off Her Feet, You Just Need To Ask Her Out

You Don’t Need To Sweep Her Off Her Feet, You Just Need To Ask Her Out

I’m so over Netflix and chill. I’m so done with being asked to watch a movie. I have zero interest in being asked to hangout . I don’t want you to ask me when I’m free or if I’m bored and want to do something. I don’t want any of that.

No one wants to be asked to casually hangout at someone’s house the first time they’re hanging out alone. That is sleazy and not appealing. I don’t want to sit awkwardly on your couch or lay in your bed to watch a movie; if I wanted to do that I could sit on my own couch in the comfort of my own home.

Men, is asking her on a date really that hard to do? Is it that difficult to say, “Would you like to go to dinner with me?” or breakfast, or get coffee, or literally anything that involves plans and going out.

All I want is to be asked out on a proper freaking date and I refuse to think that is too much to ask.

If I’m spending my time talking to you, obviously I’m interested in you. I don’t do it to occupy myself, I don’t do it because I’m feeling lonely or bored. I’m not doing it for any reason other than I find you interesting and I want to get to know you better. So, yes, I obviously would like to spend time with you.

When did it become so difficult to pick a time, a date and a place to meet? We could get ice cream, or lunch, or a beer, or go bungee jumping, hell I’m open to anything. I just want to actually do something.
Hiding behind a phone screen or computer screen all day sending witty messages back and forth just isn’t good enough for me and it honestly shouldn’t be enough for anyone. That isn’t a connection; it doesn’t allow growth or a relationship to form. The only thing that does is start the process of games and prolonging the far-fetched idea of face-to-face communication and a proper date.

And if you don’t want to take me out on a date, don’t talk to me! Holy shit, a brilliant idea.

I don’t want to waste my time and energy trying to seem appealing to someone who doesn’t have interest in me. I don’t want to try and come up with conversation and interesting topics to talk about. I have other things I’d rather be doing if the relationship is going no where in your mind.

Don’t think you’re doing me a favor by talking to me instead of ignoring me. Man up and tell me you’re not interested, it’s as simple as that.

And if you actually are interested, ask me out on a D A T E. It’s not that hard. Most girls are laid back, they are down to do most things, they just want to know what to wear, how to prepare and they’ll be excited you actually took initiative. All they really was is to spend time with you, they want to get to know you and see the kind of person you really are.

Games aren’t fun, texting isn’t fun, but getting to know a person face-to-face can be really fun. You can build a way stronger connection in person than you ever can over messaging.

No one wants to be asked to hangout . In all honesty, what does that even mean? Ask us out, tell us a date and time, if we can’t make it we will ask you if we can move it. Being asked out is an amazing feeling, when someone properly does it. It means he is serious, it means he is actually interested and he has confidence. Which is AMAZING.
I’m not asking you to buy me a house, I’m not asking you to cook me a gourmet meal, or show up doing back flips.

All I’m asking is for you to show up, to ask me out on a date.

If it doesn’t go well, you move on. If it goes well, great, we can see where it goes. Either way a date isn’t going to kill you.

No one likes rejection, but I can almost guarantee if she has been spending time talking to you and throwing hints out, there is almost a one hundred percent chance she will go out with you. So, man up and ask her on the date already! She will automatically think more of you.

This Is What Happens After You Are Raped

This Is What Happens After You Are Raped

At first, you don’t acknowledge it. It was just sex, right? It happens. It’s whatever. I just won’t see him again. But that’s not true. It’s not “whatever.” You know this, but you don’t want to accept it. You’re confused. You don’t know how to feel.

You begin to process what has happened. It’s my fault, you think. I could’ve done something to stop it. Next thing you know, you’re crying. Tears form in your eyes and cascade down your cheeks uncontrollably. You hide in your room because you don’t want anyone to see you and ask why you’re upset. You isolate yourself from the world, fearful that people will know and you will be judged. Should I say something? Should I report it? Should I just let it go? This becomes a daily routine.

You tell someone. Your best friend. Maybe a trustworthy family member. But nothing changes. They sympathize, telling you that everything will be okay and claim he’s just a pushy asshole. Nothing changes the fact that you were physically violated by someone whom you trusted. The world doesn’t make sense anymore.

You ache. You have frequent anxiety attacks. In the middle of class, your throat starts to constrict. You can barely breathe. You feel like an anchor is attached to your ankle and it’s pulling you down, down to the bottom of the ocean. You get up and leave to go cry in the bathroom. Then you retreat back to your dorm and cry in your room. This happens every. Single. Day. Your friends don’t know what to do or how to help. They leave you alone.
You seek help. You book an appointment at the university’s counseling center, as soon as possible, please. You tell the doctor what happened. She tells you it’s not your fault. You don’t need to press charges if you don’t want to. You’re not okay, and that’s perfectly normal. You didn’t deserve this. “Then why did it happen?” you mutter through the tears and short breaths. She can’t give you an answer. She wishes she could, but she can’t. She tells you what you need to do. You comply.

You begin to heal. You keep a journal. You remind yourself every day that this wasn’t your fault. You’re beautiful. You deserve respect. People like That Asshole don’t deserve you or your presence. You eliminate him from your life; delete him from your contacts, Facebook, and Snapchat. The pictures you took together get cut up and thrown away. You avoid all the places where you two went together. He’s out of your life. You breathe. In and out, in and out. Slowly. Every time you feel anxious. Every time you begin to panic. You breathe.

You share your story. You join clubs on campus that stand against rape and sexual assault and promote safe, consensual sex. You make friends who have gone through similar experiences. You help each other. They’re there for you when you call at 3 am on a Thursday morning when you feel like you want to cry. You’re there for them, too. It’s a safe space. You need this.

You become yourself again, slowly but surely. You start to enjoy life again. You manage to sit through an hour and a half of calculus without having an anxiety attack. Going downtown isn’t a problem anymore. You eliminate the memories you have with Him and make new ones with your friends. You recognize your beauty and worth. He won’t bring you down anymore. You are important. You are alive for a reason.
You will never be 100% again. You know this. But you continue to try. You live your life as best as you can.

You are not a victim.

When She’s Got A Good Heart But Loses Faith In You, It’s Over

When She’s Got A Good Heart But Loses Faith In You, It’s Over

She’ll literally look for any excuse to not give up on you.

The thing about people with good hearts is they believe everything you tell them. Not because they are naive or stupid but they believe in the good in people. They want to believe everyone is as honest and genuine and has the best intentions as they do.

Even though they’ve seen the world that is opposite they choose to see the best in people no matter how many times you let them down.

She’ll give chances until you prove her right.

They go out of their way for you and do everything they possibly can for you without thinking twice about it.

She isn’t naive as much as she has faith.

But a good heart didn’t become that way simply because it’s only known good. It’s a deliberate choice every day to go against everything they’ve seen and known.

It’s being the example they might not experience but they believe in doing right and doing everything you can.

But even the best hearts and the best people get tired.

Their faith is tested. Their character is challenged. With everything, they believe in and have followed they begin to wonder why are the way they are when it ends with them getting hurt every time?

She doesn’t change she’ll just let you go.

But instead of allowing others to change them they simply let go of the person who is making them feel inadequate and not good enough.

And it will kill her to be wrong about you.

The truth is when a person with a good heart gives up on you, it’s actually breaking their heart to walk away. They look over their shoulder in hopes they can turn back around and the next chance they give you will be the right one.
They didn’t leave because they didn’t care they left because they couldn’t keep trying to convince you to care.

And once they realize this, once they realize they’ve done everything they possibly can for you, (which likely is more than most people in your life has done) they stop trying.

There is a fine line people with good hearts walk between trying too hard and self-respect. They respect you which is why they’ve tried so hard but the challenge comes in respecting themselves more to just walk away.

This Is How People With Anxiety Show Their Love

This Is How People With Anxiety Show Their Love

At first they will love with anticipation.

They will commit with a fear that the metaphorical “other shoe” may drop at any moment. This isn’t to say they don’t believe in you, or the bond you’ve built. It’s simply a product of their nature, and sometimes, it may take awhile to kick.

They are thoughtful (sometimes to the point of overanalyzing).

To put it simply, they care about everything in their lives with an incredibly deep sense of investment. They find joy in bringing their partner happiness, but also inherently fear doing the opposite. As a result…

They may be liable to respond from a place of emotion, rather than logic.

Remember that metaphorical shoe? In times of stress or disagreement, they tend to fear it is finally falling. The gravity of small situations can feel a lot larger when operating under the assumption that the worst case scenario is occurring. At times, this reaction may even result in a self fulfilling prophecy, leading to heightened tension and anxiety.

They deeply fear disappointing others, especially their partners.

Innately hard on themselves, anxious thinkers are constantly on watch for ways they can do or be better. This can make feelings of security especially challenging to achieve. However, in some ways their concern also fuels their behavior, proving them to be some of the most loyal and dedicated partners.

They often require time to recharge.

Anxious minds have a tendency to feel hectic, and at times, understandably tiresome (which is why the ability to disconnect for a night in or a few hours of alone time can be incredibly valuable). Constant socializing can leave them feeling especially depleted, and in need of respite. This isn’t to say they don’t enjoy time with their partner or family and friends, but rather crave some quiet to re-energize. Finding a person who is willing to join in on that time or respect their occasional need to reboot is everything.
They aren’t afraid to put in the work.

As human beings, each and every one of us has our own list of idiosyncrasies that inform who we are. Sure, when it comes to love there will always be room for improvement. However, in the grand scheme of offenses, I’d say concern is hardly the worst. While anxious minds may scrutinize conversations or have a propensity for overreacting (which when unaddressed can be a problem), they’re also hyper aware of the things that matter most. Their tendency to evaluate situations (though sometimes to their disadvantage) forces internal exploration. This analysis not only makes anxious people more self aware (this includes both their strengths and their flaws), but also more sensitive and sympathetic toward those they love.
6 Different Boyfriends, And What They Will Teach You About Relationships

6 Different Boyfriends, And What They Will Teach You About Relationships

Boyfriend #1

I wasn’t ever truly in love with you because we both had no idea what love was. But you cheated on me. As a freshman/sophomore I was at a fragile age. Bring on the insecurities for future relationships.

If he’s not making time for you, he’s making it for someone else.

Boyfriend #2

You were a baby. You can say my cougarness started here. You were always sweet to me and asked me to Homecoming better than anyone else. I liked you, I did but I shouldn’t have dragged on the minor relationship we had. At least we both look back and laugh, along with everyone else at our high school.

You may have a crush on someone, doesn’t always mean you should date him or her.

Boyfriend #3

You were the first “I love you”. We made it through the honeymoon stage but pressures of high school and family got in the way. We really did have a great relationship full of laughter and just plain high school love. We even had an epic break up that consisted of yelling and then Golden Spoon after.

Some people that come into your life to leave you, they leave a wound. How you take care of that wound is what makes the difference.

Boyfriend #4

I first saw you on Myspace! HA Myspace! Even though our time together was short, I loved it. We didn’t go to the same school and the group of friends that you surrounded yourself with was nothing like I have ever seen. It was beautiful! You opened my eyes to God. I think you will secretly forever be my dad’s favorite cause whenever your name is mentioned to this day he says “My Boy!”
If you know he makes you better person, then he is for sure a keeper. Why aren’t I still with him? In the end we were different people. This happens and it’s nothing to sulk about just be grateful that person was in your life.

Boyfriend #5

To this day I still can’t believe I dated you. You were terrible, treated me like dirt and constantly cheated on me emotionally and physically with your ex girlfriend. But what is crazy to me the most I how long I stuck around. “Maddie he loves one thing that starts with an “M” and its not you. This was said to me and I should have listened.

You need this relationship because then you know exactly what you don’t want in a relationship.

Boyfriend #6

We had a wonderful, stealthy, and fightless relationship. Our relationship was secret for a while and I think that’s what made it so exciting. I loved our relationship.I was completely myself with you. Your family was mine and mine was yours. We were active and adventurous but the memories that first come to mind are snuggling with your dog while watching Chopped and belting out Maroon 5 in my car. You’re always going to be “Little One” to me. Even though you’re a foot taller than me. Sadly, I think the age difference got the better of us.

Sometimes two people aren’t meant to be together. They share happy/unforgettable times but in the end they are destined to make memories with someone new.

In Love There Is Forgiveness

In Love There Is Forgiveness

I remember my Religious Studies professor in college. He always ends up teaching the class about love. That love is supposed to be beautiful and magical. That it’s not supposed to be painful. That love is forgiving and forgiving and forgiving and forgiving and forgiving. I never understood what he meant back then.
I would always ask myself why I need to forgive people in order to love them. The question at the back of my mind would always be what if they do something that could hurt me for life? Or what if they break my heart? Do I still need to forgive them?
I broke my heart a couple of times, and I pulled myself back up. It was not easy the first time, and it never gets easy even after the seventh. Sometimes, the thought of loving again makes me cringe and just scares me so much that thinking about it makes me want to just run away from the world.
But who am I kidding? I am bound to love anyway, and there’s not a chance that I could get away from love.
We do not choose who we fall in love with. It just happens. When you think about him, you’d be thinking of rainbows and butterflies and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. When you talk to him, you’d be praying for time to stop, hoping that his laugh could last forever. And it will. When you close your eyes, you’ll hear him laugh at you like he always does.
Before you go to sleep, it’s him you pray for. When you see happy faces, it’s him you end up thinking about. And eventually, you give in. You will wake up one day, and you will just know it in your heart that you love him. You’ve been scared of this shit all your life, but you know it’s true. You know you love him. And you have to forgive yourself.
I understand my college professor now, after all these years. When we ask ourselves the what if’s that we ask ourselves everyday, we need to learn how to forgive. It’s not every day that people find someone to love. It’s not every day that you see yourself smiling each time you think of someone who’s not so perfect, but you love anyway.

We have to forgive ourselves for giving in. For finally accepting the fact that we are still capable of seeing something good in someone. That we are capable of knowing the wrong things about them and loving them anyway. You don’t have that much of a choice now. Give in to love and just forgive yourself.

I forgive myself now.

What Does It Mean When You Can’t Stop Thinking About Someone?

What Does It Mean When You Can’t Stop Thinking About Someone?

When you can’t stop thinking about someone, it can quickly become annoying. Whether you are thinking about a crush or really dislike your boss, these thoughts can keep reappearing when you least expect them. Because you think about the person so much, they hold an out-sized hold on your subconscious mind and may reappear in your dreams as well. From thinking about them constantly through the day to dreaming about them at night, you need to find a way to escape from these constant, reoccurring thoughts.

What Does It Mean When You Can’t Stop Thinking About Someone?

If the person that you are thinking about is your crush, then it probably means that you are interested in them. Chemical changes occur in your brain when you start to fall for a crush. These changes mean that you are thinking about them constantly and feel nervous when you are around them. Even if your crush does not like you back, it does not stop your thoughts from turning to them all the time.

What If You Don’t Like That Person?

In some cases, you can’t stop thinking about someone because you dislike them. For many people, this is a boss or a family member that just annoys you. Everything that they do just reminds you over and over again that you dislike them. Your mind goes into a frustration circle where it keeps returning to the detail that bothered you so much. Unfortunately, this type of thought pattern can become unhealthy. Before long, your constant thoughts about the person become obsessive and you can’t think about anything else.

Ways to Stop Obsessive Thoughts

When you can’t stop thinking about someone, then you may have a problem with obsessive thoughts. This type of problem is often addressed with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This type of therapy helps you to naturally channel your thoughts and change your normal behaviors.
One technique that is used is to imagine a large movie screen. On that screen, project the person or activity that you continue to think about all the time. As you think about this stressful image, suddenly tell yourself stop or have someone else say stop. This interrupts your thought patterns briefly. Doing it just once is not enough though. You need to keep doing the same process multiple times until you automatically want to say the word “stop” when you reach a certain point in your thoughts. Once you can do this successfully, you can start using the same technique in your daily life to get yourself to stop thinking about the one person constantly.

Do Constant Thoughts Mean That You Love That Person?

In some cases, thinking about someone all of the time means that you have some type of attraction to them. This is not always the case though. There are many reasons why you could find yourself stuck in thoughts of someone else. In some cases, you may even hate the person.

Other reasons why you cannot stop thinking of someone is because you are attracted to them, have fallen in love or hate them. They could be your mentor, so you think about them a lot. It is also possible that that person is just especially funny or interesting, so you think about them all of the time.

You are the best person to decide what these constant thoughts mean. If you feel like you have fallen for them, then you may be in love or have a crush on them. If you feel hurt when they are absent or wish that you could be around them all of the time, then your thoughts may be due to a crush. If you feel repulsed by the thoughts, then they may be due to a deep-seated hatred or dislike of the person. By analyzing the thoughts and how you feel, you can figure out what is potentially causing these thoughts to occur.

This person cold also just be someone who helps you out or who treats you like family. They could be someone who changes your life or motivates you to succeed. It is also possible that the person just appeared in the dream, and the dream caused you to think about them constantly. In some cases, you don’t even know who the person is. They could have been in the dream randomly, so you don’t know if they even exist in the real world.

If you dislike thinking about this person all the time, try picking up a hobby. Staying busy will help your thoughts turn to other, more useful topics. Watch TED talks, read a book or pick up a new hobby. Writing in a journal each day can also help you work through your thoughts and figure out what is going on. With enough time, these thoughts will eventually go away.

8 Ways The Stars Are Trying To Tell You That You've Met Your Soulmate

8 Ways The Stars Are Trying To Tell You That You've Met Your Soulmate

This is everything you need to know to identify your true soulmate.

Soulmates and karmic mates are two types of people we encounter in romantic relationships. And while the latter is more abundant, karmic relationships do not last once they have solved the purpose for which the two people came together.

In astrology , we often look at zodiac compatibility between two zodiac signs . And when you think you've seen all the signs you've met your soulmate, it can be so exciting, you even stop checking your horoscope for answers. But there are certain astrological traits that also indicate a significant love connection.

Soulmates are different. They are family to our soul, so we instantly form a deep bond with them, which defies the normal sequence of going from acquaintance to partner.

But what you may not know is that when you compare the birth charts of two soulmates, they almost always have certain aspects between their charts that immediately make the nature of their bond apparent to a skilled astrologer. So, here are some of the commonest astrological signs that represent you have found your soulmate .

1. You have connections between your nodes of the Moon.

The Moon represents our soul. And its nodes represent who we are and where we are going in this life. So when someone’s personal planets or luminaries (from Sun to Mars) touches either our South Node or the North Node of the Moon, we immediately get a gut feeling of "meant to be" or “destined to meet” in their presence.

2. You have connections between your Ascendant.

The Ascendant (aka the rising sign) is called our personality’s mask in astrology because the traits of this zodiac sign are the most “visible” in our personality. So when people mistakenly think you are a Gemini even though you are a Capricorn , most of the time it is because you have a Gemini Ascendant
That’s why when someone’s personal planets or their Sun or Moon (aka the luminaries) touch your ascendant, you develop strong feelings for each other almost instantaneously because both of you exhibit the same personality traits (albeit, in slightly different ways).
3. Your charts form a grand trine.
Grand trines are very special in astrology. And rare. They are formed when three points in a chart or between two charts form an exact equilateral triangle.
So when this aspect is found between the charts of two people, it is a strong indicator of a soulmate relationship since grand trines bestow harmony and make it easier for two people to be on the same page.
4. You have planets falling in each other's 7th House.
The 7th House is the house of marriage and partnership. That’s why when two people have planets and points falling in each other’s 7th house (or conjuncting the descendant), it is a strong indicator that the two of you are meant to be together.
5. You have connections between your Sun and Moon signs.
You may not know this, but all married couples have connections between their Sun and Moon. It’s because the Sun represents our life path and the Moon represents our home and soul.
So when two people have connections between these luminaries, they immediately know that their paths in life go hand-in-hand, even if they do not understand what is drawing them to each other so strongly.
6. You have conjunctions with each other’s Vertex.
The vertex is also called the point of destiny because when someone’s personal planets or Sun or Moon touches your vertex, you immediately feel as if you were destined to meet them. Just remember: Karmic mates also share vertex connections . So if this is the only connection between your charts, you probably are not soulmates.
7. You have Saturn connections.
Saturn gets a bad rep in astrology because of the fact that most people are too lazy to put in some honest hard work to achieve things in life.
In reality, Saturn is a tough taskmaster who will reward you only when you have worked hard enough to deserve it. Therefore, when two people have strong Saturn connections between their charts, they feel as if they have been glued together in a relationship where they are responsible for each other.
8. You have connections between your outer planets and personal planets.
Connections between outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) and personal planets and luminaries always create a strong bond between two people. A bond that is destined to change your lives forever.
Uranus contacts bring out your eccentric and electric side, and change your life through altering your beliefs. Neptune contacts create a dreamy and whimsical romance between two people. But it also makes the two of you want to escape reality. And Pluto contacts bring out a deep sexual obsession for each other that draws out past pains and transforms who you are through purging long-buried poisons in your psyche.

7 Foods You Should be Eating Before Having $ex

7 Foods You Should be Eating Before Having $ex

7 Foods You Should be Eating Before Having $ex
Everyone has their own version of a ritual before it becomes their time to shine, however, are you maximizing your full potential before $ex?
Aphrodisiacs are things that stimulate $exual desire or arouse excitement within the body. Different kinds of foods or drinks can jump-start this libido, and really spice things up in the bedroom. Aka it’s time to listen up and try eating these before $ex.
NUTS
Nuts contain large amounts of zinc, which is one of the key factors to a healthy libido. According to SELF, nuts also contain omega-3, which can cause a $exual response due to an increase in dopamine production.
STRAWBERRY
This one should be obvious. Strawberries have been used in a seductive manner for years now, bonus if they are covered in chocolate. The stunning red color, mixed with the sweet flavor of the berry, how could they not be absolutely tantalizing? Plus, back in the ancient Roman days, strawberries were known as a symbol of Venus.
COFFEE
Most of us drink coffee in the morning to help put a little extra pep in our step. So, why not give it a shot before $ex? Coffee helps to wake you up, get the blood flowing and increases stamina; all pretty useful, if not essential.
AVOCADOS
I guess there was a good reason for the avocado craze. According to PBS, “the Aztecs explained that [the avocado’s] name, ahucatl (meaning testicle), came not only from their physical appearance, but also from their ability to incite $exual passion.” The avocado helped many boost their immune system and their libido.
SEA FOOD
Seafood, oysters more specifically, is a great choice, again, because of our good friend, zinc. In addition to the zinc, hand feeding oysters or sushi could be all you need to spice it up in the bedroom.
BEETS
Maybe Dwight Schrute had it right all along. Beets contain tryptophan and betaine, which contribute to positive feelings. They also contain boron, which is a substance that helps to increase $ex hormones in the body.
DARK CHOCOLATE
Chocolate has always been a fan favorite for the indication of $ex. However, science has delved into the wonders behind what makes chocolate so powerful. Two essential parts were found phenethylamine and tryptophan. Apparently, these two components help us to fall in love and create serotonin in our brain.
POMEGRANATES
In 2011, it was discovered that by drinking pomegranate juice it lowered cortisol levels, thus increasing testosterone in men and women. Additionally, according to PBS, Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love planted the first pomegranate tree, and due to “their many seeds, pomegranates are often associated with fertility and abundance.”

Next time the mood strikes, impress your partner by stepping up your game and trying something new. What have you got to lose?
If You Say These 7 Phrases, Consider Your Relationship OVER

If You Say These 7 Phrases, Consider Your Relationship OVER

Your words are just as powerful as your actions.
By Jillian Kramer
"Words have huge power in relationships ," so much so that even the smallest words and phrases aren't to be underestimated, says Jill Whitney , LMFT. Each little syllable has the power to inspire us, encourage us, help us, or much worse, hurt us. And their power, Whitney says, is especially poignant when coming from our partners.
"The ironic thing is we tend to be less careful about the words we use with our partners," she adds. "We may take for granted all the good things they bring to our relationship and focus on what's lacking. And because we may feel hurt or angry about what's lacking, we may speak from an impulsive, attacking place. That creates distance rather than the connection we're likely hungering for."
Of course, if you don't know what words are hurting the most, you can't stop saying them. So our experts are here with seven phrases you didn't realize could ruin your relationship .
1. "I'm sorry, but ..."
Even the most heartfelt apology can be completely negated if it's followed by the word "but," warns Cathryn Mora, relationship advisor. "It implies a lack of integrity, invalidates the apology, and turns a positive statement into a negative one," she explains. "Saying 'but' doesn't help build trust, credibility, or intimacy ," which, of course, are the foundations of any healthy relationship.
2. "Yeah? Well, you ..."
Turning the tables on your partner shuts down meaningful conversation, says Whitney. "'The best defense is a good offense' may work in sports, but it's destructive to relationships," she says. "Rather than feeling heard and valued, your partner feels attacked. This feels like a threat to your connection, so he or she is likely respond from a distressed, emotional place, and the situation spirals downward. Both of you end up unhappy, and the concern doesn't get addressed."
3. "You always ..."

According to relationship expert Lori Bizzoco , the surest way to exacerbate an argument is by making blanket (and often untrue) statements about what your partner always does. "This phrase opens up to further arguments," she warns, "and will make your partner feel like you are attacking his or her character on top of whatever it is you're arguing about."

4. "I'm fine."

No, you're not. And your partner knows you're not. With that in mind, "if you need a little space to cool down after a heated exchange, that's OK," says Mora, "as long as you eventually communicate and resolve." But if you use this phrase to stonewall and shut down a conversation, "it [can be] a big red flag for a failed relationship," she says.

5. "I told you ..."

Let's face facts: "The 'I told you so' game isn't fun for anyone," says Bizzoco, including your partner. And heard enough times, he or she could harbor resentment toward you. "Using 'I told you ...' sounds like you are against your partner," Bizzoco explains. "It's much healthier for the both of you if you remind each other that you are on one another's sides."

6. "You're just like ..."

Pointing out the similarities between your partner and someone he or she doesn't want to be is a cruel kind of criticism. "This is pretty much guaranteed to get your partner's back up," says Whitney. "The immediate reaction is likely to be, 'no, I'm not,' and suddenly, you sound like kindergartners bickering on the playground."

7. "You're overreacting."

5 Signs You're In Love With A Man Who Doesn't Have His Sh*t Together

5 Signs You're In Love With A Man Who Doesn't Have His Sh*t Together

Run for the hills, ladies.

If you found your way to this article, it may be because you're the type of woman who constantly finds herself trying to "fix" a man, or entering into a relationship with someone who isn't quite on your level of maturity or emotional stability.

But that's OK, because you're going to change him and make him be better. Right?

I can't tell you how many conversations I've had with women who found themselves in a situation like this and have become increasingly frustrated that he's still facing the same struggles as months earlier when they first got together.

This is probably because, well, you can't change someone. You may be their reason to want to change, which is a beautiful thing, but they have to do it themselves.

So, if you've found yourself in a pattern like this in the past and are unable to find a happy, healthy relationship because of it, how do you break the cycle?

1. You don't pay attention to his past.

How a man has lived his life up until the point he met you, is a road taken that you cannot change. Similar to walking into the woods for 10 miles and expecting to be able to walk back out in 1 mile — it's just not going to happen.

If he has a long history of short-lived negative relationships — perhaps a bad or nonexistent relationship with family, constantly revolving around him — or is always placing the blame on women for failed relationships, then I'm sorry to say, but willingly dating a man like this simply puts you in the middle of his destructive path.
Like the person who steps off of the tracks in the movie at the last second when the train is coming, it's time to get out of the way.

2. You stay away from men who take you out of your comfort zone.

Being comfortable with the person you're with is, of course, of the utmost importance. But that also depends on what kind of comfort it is. If you're the type of woman who's drawn to the wrong types of men, then familiarity isn't necessarily a good thing.

If he reminds you of an ex or brings back the same hopeful feelings of being able to help him that you recognize from your past, turn around and walk away.

You've got to be honest and ask yourself how these scenarios have turned out for you before. If you were successful in helping someone change and lived happily ever after with him, then you wouldn't be back out in the world looking for another project.

3. You fall for the kind of person he "could be."

The right person for you will absolutely support and encourage you on your journey to become who you'd like to be, while still loving and accepting you as the way you are. But seeing potential in a man who doesn't see it in himself and is doing nothing about it, is asking for trouble.

If you're going to try to help him open his eyes to who he can be, and what he can become, you're basically attempting to paint on a blank canvas. This is much different than a man who has his path in life carved out and is following after his dreams and ambitions.

If you feel that you need to be a mother figure to him and take care of him in order for him to get to where (you think) he should be, you're setting yourself up for disaster.
4. You don't understand that the lack of a challenge is a good thing.

If you're a woman who falls into these patterns, you're probably drawn to the challenge of changing a man. If he would just listen to your guidance and be driven by your love , he would finally become who he should be, after all of these years ... wouldn't he?

If this is the case, you probably shy away from men who don't challenge you in this way. You may even find them boring because they don't "need" you.

If you recognize this pattern in yourself, you can begin to recognize that someone who doesn't need you is a good thing, and is probably exactly the type of man you should be dating instead. Because let's face it, your current pattern hasn't brought you the happiness you expected it to.

5. You ignore your intuition.

A woman's intuition is a pretty amazing thing. Yet, so many choose to ignore it. There may be something that immediately draws you to a man in terms of his appearance, stature, personality, whatever it might be. But when you begin to know him on a deeper level you will find yourself having more thoughts than how well-tailored his suit is.

If you start finding yourself taking on more of a therapist role than you do as an equal in a relationship, it's a clear and immediate sign that you're choosing another "fixer-upper" who will, in the end, frustrate you and leave you wanting. Again.

Many people struggle in life and need support sometimes — myself included. We aren't perfectly evolved and we all have our flaws, but it's our responsibility as men and women to handle them ourselves and seek help in the right places, the best we can.

As someone's significant other, this isn't your role. Your role is to love and support them as an equal, but not to fix them.
Once you realize this, you'll find yourself being drawn to healthier, more emotionally stable men who are able to give you the love and support you need in return, as well.

Someone who hasn't yet fully formed themselves will never be able to be your teammate and true equal — and that's exactly what you need.

READ! I Want To Run/Fly Away With You; Says A Lady To Boyfriend

READ! I Want To Run/Fly Away With You; Says A Lady To Boyfriend

We are surrounded by exits, one in every direction. There are only so many times you can pass by that glowing red sign with the promising arrow and pretend not to notice it. We convince ourselves that we need this jacket, that duvet cover, this meal at that restaurant — we don’t need anything. We have the only thing that could possibly matter, and there is nagging part of me which knows that something in the daily tedium of money spent and hours worked is chipping away at it. It is so easy to look at another person through the fog of everything unrelated which is upsetting you, to take their beauty for granted because you imagine it will always be there when you roll over in the morning. I hate that I do this.

You have done nothing wrong in your life, you know. Well, maybe you have. I am sure there were times where you lied about who cheated on the third grade math test or said something unnecessarily cruel to a friend who stood you up. But I can’t recall a moment in which you didn’t merit being loved entirely, in which you were not an oasis from the relentless offenses of a world which is completely indifferent. I find fault only in the moments when you have to leave, when your body is being pulled away by some invisible force that goes under many names: “Work,” “errands,” “commitments.”

I am jealous of your bedsheets — the ones you wrap yourself in over and over when you are unreasonably cold for the season. I am jealous of the people who get to pass by you in the metro and who will never know your name. They don’t know that they are lucky, that their shoulders touch someone wonderful and generous and kind, someone who makes all of this worth it. I can’t expect everyone to know you, and yet I wish they did. I wish they could. I see people honored with awards and galas and cash prizes, but have any of them ever kissed someone on the forehead and made them feel as though they are good enough just the way they are? I hope so. There should be an award for that. A black-tie gala.
I want to take one of these exits. I want to walk out and pretend not to hear the calls behind me of “Where are you going?” “When are you coming back?” I don’t know when I am coming back, and there is no one I want to explain it to. Yes, I know that it is selfish and short-sighted to feel this way, but that is entirely your doing. Before you, I considered a million different sources of happiness, and now there only seems to be one. I want to isolate it and watch it grow in the perfect, controlled conditions. I don’t want it to be weighed on by a thousand people who push you in the grocery line or forget to call you back or don’t hold the door open.

There are tickets everywhere. We could go, and figure it out when we get there — throw a dart at the map the way they did in the comics and take our savings out entirely in cash. I know it’s impossible, I know that there is too much at risk, I know that we can’t just up and go. Your pragmatism is as frustrating as it is wonderfully necessary. But let’s just pretend. Sometimes it’s okay to pretend, to remember that we are surrounded by incredible people who don’t deserve to be softly beaten by the difficulties of daily life. I don’t want to take anything for granted, least of all you. Let me think of what it would be like if life were only the two of us — it will make going out to get groceries after work just that much easier to do. We all need the postcard of a beach in our cubicles.
